어제 2020년 9월9일에 딥마인드에서 눈문이 발표되었습니다.
딥마인드가 알파고로 유명해진 인공지능 알파제로와 크램닉(전 체스 세계챔피언)이 협업한 변형 체스에 대한 새로운 연구를 공개하였습니다.
이 연구의 목적은 클래식 체스(원조 체스)가 가진 심미적 매력과 대칭성을 보전하면서도 새로운 오프닝, 미들, 엔딩 패턴과 참신한 새로운 오프닝 이론이 나올 수 있는 역동적인 변형 체스를 만들어고자 하는 것입니다.
논문에서는 9종류의 변형체스들에 대해서 연구를 진행하였습니다.
